Diet for Thought
This plan is rather blend and you can get sick of it rather quickly. Try adding spices like curry to give it a little more taste.

The Cabbage Soup Diet is a low-fat, high-fiber diet. A do-it-yourself cabbage soup plus a mix of other fruits, vegetables and a little meat for a 7-day diet.
This diet is NOT recommended as a long-term weight loss program. However, it is a good means to get into shape fast before you embark on a more moderate long-term eating plan.
*** Not suitable for children and adolescents ***
The 7 Day Plan:
Day 1 - Home-made cabbage soup, plus any fruit, apart from bananas.
Day 2 - Home-made cabbage soup, plus other vegetables, including a baked potato with butter for dinner (potatoes are off-limits on other days).
Day 3 - Home-made cabbage soup, plus other fruits and vegetables.
Day 4 - Home-made cabbage soup, plus anything up to 8 bananas and fat-free milk.
Day 5 - Home-made cabbage soup, plus 6 tomatoes and up to 450 grams of meat or fish.
Day 6 - Home-made cabbage soup, plus meat and vegetables.
Day 7 - Home-made cabbage soup, plus brown rice, pure fruit juice, and vegetables.
Advantages
A good short term break from the average junk-food diet or as a self-cleansing process for your body. |
Disadvantages
It is not a sufficiently balanced diet and lacks other important vitamins and minerals. Not to be taken as a long-term diet plan. |
