PhytoPath™Do you get enough fruits and vegetables in your diet? If you're like most adults, you do not. PhytoPath™ can help by supplying a spectrum of natural plant compounds as well as vitamins, botanicals, and specialty nutrients that provide antioxidant protection against free radical damage. Ingredients include Masquelier's Original OPCs to support the skin, eyes, and metabolic systems; Betatene, natural beta carotene with mixed carotenoids to help protect cells and provide an important form of vitamin A; natural vitamin E to generate antioxidant protection for the heart and other organs; N-acetyl-cysteine, a building block to glutathione in the body; vitamin C, which plays a role in supporting connective tissue, bones, teeth, blood vessels, and immune function; and additional botanical concentrates, such as green tea, quercitin, citrus bioflavonoids, and extracts of grape seed, pomegranate, apricot, nectarine, and prune skin.*

What’s inside:

PhytoPath™ contains a spectrum of natural vitamins, botanicals, and specialty nutrients with antioxidant properties to support the body against free radical damage,* including:

  • Masquelier’s™ Original OPCs, powerful botanical extracts called oligomeric proanthocyanidins that support the skin and eyes as well as virtually every metabolic system in the body, including cardiovascular and circulatory. This supplement provides particular health benefits for sports activities, anti-aging, and antioxidant protection.*
  • Betatene, a mixture of important carotenoids found in bright-colored fruits and vegetables. These phytonutrients have significant antioxidant properties to protect cells. Beta-carotene is converted to vitamin A in the body, and vitamin A is important to eye health, skin tissue, and the immune system, as well as other systems of the body.*
  • Vitamin E, provided in a natural, fatsoluble nutrient. Vitamin E generates antioxidant protection for the heart and other organs of the body.*
  • Vitamin C, a water-soluble antioxidant used by the body to support collagen within connective tissue, bones, teeth, blood vessels, and immune function.*
  • Green tea, containing chemicals that act as powerful antioxidants. Green tea has been linked to improved health in Asia.*
  • Quercitin and citrus bioflavonoids, well known for antioxidant properties.*
  • Grape seed extract, an important antioxidant linked to the well-known health benefits of red wine observed in the French population.*
  • Pomegranate, apricot/nectarine, and prune skin extracts, which are sources of antioxidants.*

What it will do for you:

Antioxidant is a classification of several vitamin-rich organic substances, including bioflavonoids, phytonutrients, and the carotenoids that add colour to fruits and vegetables. At the molecular and cellular levels, antioxidants deactivate free radicals, which are damaged molecules that seek to repair themselves by stealing materials from our body’s healthy cells. Free radicals are the natural byproducts of many processes within and among cells, and they are also created by exposure to various environmental factors— such as air pollution, pesticides, food additives, and radiation—and the effects of aging, stress, and illness.

We all need a nutritional shield and defense against the hazards of everyday living. Free radicals are believed to play a role in many different health problems. Free radicals can cause damage to cell walls, certain cell structures, and genetic material within cells. Over time, this damage can become irreversible.*

While there’s no substitute for eating fresh fruits and vegetables, many people regard antioxidant supplements as health insurance. A Mayo Clinic study stated that evidence from more than a hundred studies suggests eating fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C or beta-carotene is beneficial to your health. Ingesting a wide variety of antioxidant botanicals, vitamins, and minerals is the best way to help the body protect itself against free radical damage. Enrich’s PhytoPath™ provides additional antioxidant nutrients you might not be getting from your diet.*
