Nature's Tea™
Deaths Begins in the Colon?
All foods not digested or absorbed as body-building nutrients become toxic wastes. Wastes that linger in the body rot and putrefy into dangerous smelly garbage that must be excreted immediately. One of the most defiling acts that a human being can do is to allow the remains of his meals (the fecal matter) to remain in contact with the colon for more than a day at a time.
Our liver produces a combination of chemicals call bile. They include bile acids like cholic acid and deoxycholic acid. As these bile acids moves through the colon, they react with various bacteria that are residents in our intestinal tract. Cholic acid can be converted into a powerful cancer causing chemical, apcholic acids by these resident bacteria. Deoxycholic acid can be changed into a more potent cancer-causing agent, 3-methyl-cholanthrene.
The intestines can store a vast amount of partially digested, putrefying matter (as well as drugs and other toxic chemicals) that lodges in its numerous folds and crevices - for decades even. This encrusted mucus mixed with fecal matter, may resemble hardened blackish-green tire rubber, sometimes leaving only a pencil-thin channel through which the feces could move. The average person is known to have up to 151bs of old fecal matter in the colon. As the colon becomes impacted with dry putrefactive waste, its shape and function are affected in numerous ways.
It may stretch like a balloon in certain areas, or develop diverticula (pouches on the intestinal wall which may become infected), or fall down upon itself (prolapsed colon). All of these malformations greatly impair the large intestine's ability to function, which in turn places severe strain on the digestive organs and glands and affects nutrient assimilation and absorption.
Since the colon is in contact with all toxins that the body must eliminate, speed is essential. The longer any toxin is in contact with the soft delicate membrane of the colon, the greater the possibility of health damage. In addition, the immune system is gradually weakened as the chronically toxic bowel environment destroys useful bacteria and the liver becomes overburdened by unprocessed intestinal toxins.
Herbs have been used safely to move the bowels since the dawn of civilization. They speed the elimination of waste and toxins from the colon. Unlike chemical laxatives that can harm the colon and alter the normal intestinal flora, natural herbs can encourage normal healthy bowel functions.
For thousands of years, the Chinese have known that natural laxatives and diuretics are helpful for regulating the bowels and urinary tract. They help cleanse and soothe, rather than irritate. These herbs help to metabolize fat and help in flushing stored waste from the body cells.
Nature's Tea™ is a sweet tasting blend of Chinese and American herbs that cleanses soothes and improves bowel transit time.
